Ian Black Real Estate, Sarasota’s premier commercial real estate brokerage firm, has hired J.D. “Butch†Miller as sales associate, industrial real estate services. Miller has more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience and will focus on sales and leasing of industrial space in the Sarasota-Manatee area.

Prior to joining Ian Black Real Estate, Miller served as managing director and senior vice president of sales for CBRE Raleigh, where he managed a team of 35 brokerage professionals. He also served as senior vice president at CBRE Atlanta, where he specialized in the sale of institutional-grade income-producting assets. During his more than 38 years with CBRE, Miller also worked in the South Florida market. He started his career in residential real estate in Galveston, Texas.
