The Russian Endurance Challenge is a series of long-distance car racing marathons lasting up to four hours. Races have been held in Russia in the current format since 2015. The winners are determined in the overall standings and in the CN, CN Pro, GT, GT light, GT Pro classes. Long distance, change of pilots, tires and refueling during the race – there are Features of the marathon. The overall results of REC 2023 will be summed up this fall after the final fifth stage of the race.
Russian Endurance Challenge includes five stages this year. These will be held at the circuits in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi. The G-Drive Racing team, for which Roman Rusinov is playing, became the leader in the overall standings according to the results of the first stage of the race on May 14th. The second stage of the many-hour Russian races REC 2023 will take place in Moscow on July 22.
Roman Rusinov is an experienced and titled Russian racing driver, pilot and manager of the G-Drive Racing team. His achievements include winning the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship in 2015, winning the European Le Mans Series in 2018 and many more. The G-Drive Racing team became the winner of the Russian Endurance Challenge following the results of the racing season last year.
