The vision of A & B First Aid Training
At A & B First Aid Training, our trainers and assessors currently work in vocational education and training and have experience in the healthcare industry. We hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in training and assessment, advanced first aid qualifications and undertake professional ongoing improvement programs. What Can You Get Here?
1. CPR course
Cardiac arrest is a medical emergency that can lead to death. With urgent medical care to restart the heart, survival is possible.
Quick decision-making is required to recognise and assess a cardiac emergency, call for medical assistance and perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation procedures, which will increase the chance of survival for a person who is unconscious and not breathing normally.
In this course, you will learn these skills, in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, including using an automated external defibrillator, how to rotate first aiders with minimal interruptions to compressions, and what to do if the casualty regurgitates or vomits.
2. First Aid and CPR
With instruction and practical training in line with legal, workplace and community considerations, Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and other Australian national peak clinical bodies, this first aid course teaches the skills and knowledge to recognise emergencies and provide immediate and effective first aid treatment to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury.
3. Child Care First Aid
This course provides practical training for workers within an education and care setting to respond to first aid emergencies in line with legal and workplace requirements, Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
