ESTERO, Florida —The Wright Community Management, a condominium and homeowners association management company based in Fort Lauderdale, has opened a second office in Estero. Owners Bonita Vandall and Danielle Wright are long-time and native Southwest Floridians, respectively, and association industry veterans with more than 55 years’ combined experience. They purchased the 27-year-old company – previously called NextGen Management – in January.
Now serving Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties in addition to Palm Beach and Broward, The Wright Community Management offers full-service community association management, including maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, pressure cleaning, pest control and general contracting services, which many other management companies don’t offer.
“Estero is our home, and both Danielle and I have spent many, many years managing communities in Southwest Florida,†Vandall said. “Now that we own a business, opening a location here was a very natural thing to do.â€
The Wright Community Management currently has 22 employees and manages 32 associations. With big growth goals, Vandall and Wright plan to begin hiring in Southwest Florida soon and aim to have 200 clients on their roster by September 2023.
Through the acquisition and expansion, The Wright Community Management has partnered with American Momentum Bank’s Association Banking Division.
“Compared to other banks we’ve worked with, American Momentum’s team is much more responsive and helpful,†Wright said. “Heather has been there every time we’ve had any questions about our accounts, and it’s been an excellent relationship.â€
Raised in Bonita Springs, Florida, from the age of 11, Vandall has spent nearly 40 years in association management, with nearly 35 of those in Southwest Florida. She holds licenses and credentials for Community Association Manager (CAM), Association Management Specialist (AMS), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Certified Building Administrator (CBA) with Building Managers International (BMI), and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM). Vandall is on the board of directors for CEOMC – CEOs of Management Companies Organization.
Born in Naples, Florida, Wright has spent more than 15 years in association management, having started her career in Southwest Florida. She holds the CAM, CMCA and AMS licenses and serves as a City of Coral Springs board member to the Unsafe Structures Board.
Both Wright and Vandall are members of the Community Association Institute and supporters of Treats for Troops and Women in Distress in Broward County. In addition, after Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida in September, they partnered with American Momentum Bank and CINC Systems to get emergency supplies to thousands of people in Southwest Florida in the four weeks following the storm.
“I’ve known Bonita and Danielle for the many years we’ve all worked in the industry, and their roots in Southwest Florida run deep,†said Heather Karamitsos, Senior Vice President, Director of Association Banking. “To be able to support them as their banker, as they step into this new role as business owners and as they expand into new markets, is very exciting.â€
Through American Momentum Bank, The Wright Community Management has access to CINC Systems, the first cloud-based, bank-integrated accounting and property management platform for the community association industry. CINC partners with premier banks throughout the country to support community management companies with its integrated banking features. American Momentum is one of the CINC partner banks in Florida.
CINC Capital, LLC specializes in providing capital for business acquisitions of community association management companies and funded The Wright Community Management’s business acquisition loan.
“The advice and assistance we received from Robin Storey at CINC Capital was beyond helpful,†Wright said. “She goes the extra mile to make it work! The process is smooth, efficient and effortless.â€
