TaekFunDo brings a new method of taekwondo designed for kids, aimed to help in child development.

Designed for kids ages three through seven, TaekFunDo makes significant progress in behavior, cognitive ability, and social skills. This new method allows kids to learn taekwondo-specific skills along with a curriculum aligned with the state early childhood education standards. The psychological, physical, and social skills benefits TaekFunDo provides are notable to parents.Children are taught how to share, take turns, and work with one another to complete activities, all within 45-minute sessions.
“My daughter has been going for nearly three years and loves it. It improves confidence, teaches skills, and has massively helped her growth,” said a parent of TaekFunDo.

This unique method was created by Hamed Konarivand (www.hamedkonarivand.com) in 2019 in Switzerland after realizing the lack of Taekwondo opportunities for children under the age of seven and tested in Swiss private schools before expanding to over a dozen learning centers, teaching over 1,000 students.

“I developed Taekfundo exclusively for young kids to help them develop in a fun, no-pressure environment,” said Konarivand. “…it’s fun to do, giving them a fun place to learn and develop skills that will make them happier and healthier is the foundation of what we offer.”

TaekFunDo offers a game-based curriculum taught by highly qualified coaches. The curriculum aligns with state early childhood education standards. All coaches are certified in first aid, WT registered, taekwondo trained, and background checked
“I have done my best to make TaekFunDo be a great program for child development…. The fun part is essential since that keeps kids engaged. And we ensure they are safe and sound while they learn from us,” Konarivand said.

TaekFunDo is committed to communicating with parents and offering any information on the curriculum their students are being taught.
